Type-RS Works with Low Initial Actuation

• It prevents power loss and can improve times even for vehicles with low power.
• It reduces the generation of abnormal noise (chattering).
• The pressure on the surface between the clutch plates is small, and the durability of the plates is improved.
• The inflow and outflow of oil between the clutch plates will be smooth and the effectiveness of LSD will be improved.
• In addition, the durability of LSD oil is also improved.
  

Compared to the Conventional Cone Plate Type

• The initial torque of type-RS is suppressed to about 50% to 70% compared to the type-MZ using the conventional cone plate.
• As a result, the drive resistance is reduced and it operates smoothly with good response.

Type-RS has Excellent Durability

• type-RS uses a special precision spring (RS spring) between the pressure rings, so it always keeps the stroke of the spring.
• Unlike the cone plate type, it does not come into perfect contact, and there is no wear or settling of the clutch plate.
• The RS spring that generates the initial torque does not settle and always exhibits stable performance.
  

Merits

• It was previously necessary to overhaul the LSD on the All Japan Gymkhana vehicle two or three times a year, but as a result of installing the type-RS it fought the series without overhaul and achieved good results. It has been proven to be durable enough to handle competition levels.

Type-RS is Highly Responsive

• Since the LSD operating direction and the initial torque direction match, the operation is quick and it responds directly to the accelerator control.
• High power is transmitted to the road surface without slipping.
• Power is transmitted to the road surface without waste even in the clutch meet at the start of 0 to 400m.
• Maintains stable driving force even in long drift conditions.
  

Initial Torque

• The torque applied from the beginning to move quickly even when the LSD is not operating. If you set it high, you can get a stronger effect, but the turning performance will be worse and the drive system will be burdened.
  

Some differentials have the option to be interchangeable between the different Ways. Please select the combination that you would like with the initial way setup.
